I had a little hiccup which led to some of the apps delivering the ebook on April 2nd. I really enjoyed writing this story and I hope you’ll enjoy reading it. The other day, when the snow began falling gently where I live (before the snowstorm), it reminded me of the scene in the story when the first snow fell on the rain planet. It only snows every 25 years so it’s always a special event. I’m glad we have winters here. When the earth is covered in a blanket of white, it’s really breathtaking.
Look what came in!
I finished my NaNoWriMo story. Not only did I reach the goal of 50K words, I also ended the story. What I’ve learned from this experience is that I’m capable of cranking out a full novel within less than a month. It’s not perfect and it’s basically a super rough and dirty draft but the story is done.

Here is a cut-and-paste from my Nano page with the updated “Marlowe” synopsis (still somewhat rough) and an excerpt. The excerpt is the scene just after Marlowe fights a cyborg that detonated.
